"Serving, Learning and Leading
with MUNDO"
Originally, called "ResRules!" (loosely based on the Reality TV show "RoadRules") MUNDO began in 1997 as a program focused on raising awareness about community service and the challenges associated with AIDS.
The program expanded its
mission in 2000 (under the generous sponsorship of Nationwide Insurance
Foundation) to include a broader focus on both social justice and
cross-cultural understanding.
Today, MUNDO's mission continues to be to provide Ohio State students, staff and
faculty opportunities to not only get involved with community service, but
to also reflect on and work toward finding positive solutions for the
challenges facing the many different communities of which we all are a part.
